Do you feel overwhelmed with the many platforms av Do you feel overwhelmed with the many platforms available to promote your business on social media? You are not alone! It seems once I take the time to figure out the ins and outs of a platform (if that’s even possible), it’s time to get my brand up and running on another. I often wonder how we ever grew a business before social media.
I have been known to use the phrase “human bumper car” when asked by someone how I am doing during chaotic times; this is how managing too many social media accounts can feel. It can be too much!

Please take a deep breath and walk away from it for a moment, and let’s regroup.
There is a real opportunity to promote your business through social media. Figuring out a strategy that allows you to connect with your customers and keep your stress level at a minimum is possible and essential because your customers spend hours a day on different social media platforms.

How do you take the mayhem out of promoting your business on social media? It is simple, identify your ideal customers. I mean, really get to know everything about them! Do not just focus on the basic demographics of your customers.  Dig deeper into how they utilize social media. The goal is to know where your customers hang out on social media. This information will allow you to create a marketing campaign that engages your ideal customer with content they will engage with on platforms they use. The best part is that it will build brand recognition with your base, and it creates the opportunity to engage in conversation with your customers while increasing your sales. Easy enough, right?

User demographics are essential to know before spending your marketing budget and building a presence on a platform that your customers don’t spend time on.
Taking the time or spending the money to hire a consultant is worth it! Information is power, and this is the power you need to win on social media while giving yourself time back in your day to build your business and do what you love!
